Mahtab Nasirpour joins ‘Astigmatic’ as 1st actress

Iranian actress Mahtab Nasirpour has signed on for a role in Majid Reza Mostafavi’s ‘Astigmatic’ as the first artist confirmed to join the project.

Nassirpour, a well-established figure in Iran cinema and theater, agreed to join the cinematic project which is at the pre-production stage.

Mahtab Nasirpour is an actress and producer, known for Alo!Alo! Man joojoo-am’ (1994), ‘I Am Taraneh, 15’ (2002) and ‘Killing Mad Dogs’ (2001).

The license to make the film was issued a few months back with Mr. Mostafavi in charge of directing and producing the film.  

‘Astigmatic’ is a star-studded social drama jointly written by Payam Karami and the director of the film. The shooting stage of the movie is slated to start soon.
